I've had problems with this combo file since I purchased it. Mathis brothers sent me a technician within the first couple of weeks of purchase of my new filing cabinet. The technician tells me "this is how it should be" and adjusts the hinges for the bottom drawer and takes off. I rarely use the bottom drawer and it only would open half way. 1 and half years later I start to actually use the bottom drawer and it gets stuck and won't close all the way. Mathis brothers ofcourse won't send out a technician to repair it because its out of the 1 year warranty. So basically I'm stuck with it.

I have to admit i was very nervous making a large purchase like this given the many negative reviews, both on the internet and at BBB, so we took a very big chance and boy did it pay off! Other than a couple of hiccups with delivery dates, everything worked out great in the end and the item far exceeded expectations.

Great quality, goes nicely with the matching desk. Very heavy and sturdy! I like the varied sizes of the drawers so you can store a variety of items like folders, loose documents, etc.

I have been a 1StopBedroom customer for years and this latest purchase of a File Drawer from the Hawthorne goes so nicely with everything else that I have bought from 1StopBedroom.
