So I went to my local RW store to try on a pair of these but they don’t carry the Hawthorne in any of the stores in my area. I normally wear an 11.5. I have a pair of the iron rangers in a 10.5 and now that those are a few years old they’ve become to large without an insert. So I got a 10. Well when these arrived it was extremely difficult to get my foot in the shoe due to the tongue being sewn in up to about the bottom of the second eyelet from the top. After getting my foot crammed in there, they were way way too tight. Trust me when I say it was a struggle. But I know leather and how it behaves and the things one can do to quickly mold it. So after getting the second boot on finally I waddled over to the bathroom and got into my tub blasted the hot water on and soaked the boots on my feet and began to crouch and stand and crouch as then stand while still soaking them in hot water. Within minutes they stretched and started to feel like an all encompassing hug. Stepped out of the tub onto a dry towel and then went for a walk around the block. Came back to the house and took these pics. They dry extremely fast considering it was only 62 degrees out. Wore them for the rest of the day and today when I went to put them on my foot slid right in. They feel really good. Molded like a trusty soldier at the ready. Would highly recommend these boots. Don’t panic when they show up and feel like Swiss wooden clogs. You’ll love them. Now I just have to apply my waterproof spray to pretext them and I’ll be good to go!

I struggled to choose between a size 12 and 13 since we lose the half sizes as big boys. I wear a size 14 Air Force 1, size 13 Timberland Premium, but a 12 Cole Haan loafer, just for reference. I bought the Moc Toes in size 13 and they felt like boats, bought the 12's and my big toe touched, but felt much snugger. Yet I worked a full week roofing in my dads size 11.5 down in FL with the insoles removed and it wasnt bad. I figured insoles are the answer, and my final conclusion is, size up if you are in between, and get a pair of leather insoles like the timberland premium ones or Ugg even makes a nice set. Easier than trying to get thinner insoles of any quality or stretching the toe out lengthwise. The only issue is now I go from 6'5 barefoot to 6'6.5 with the boots and have to duck more often.

真っ黒で特に服装を気にせず履けるので正解だったと思います。
普段履きが24.5なので25.0のDワイズはなかなか足に馴染みませんでしたが
1,2か月ほどでだんだんと中底のかたちが変わってきました。
ダイソーでかかとの部分の厚みを増すスポンジをつけていい感じで履けるようになりました。

直営店まで行けばEワイズや24.5も買えたかもしれませんが
最初の1足なので大切に履いていこうと思います。

さすがレッドウイング。履き心地良いです。
通常、おろしたての革靴は硬くて履きづらいものですが、最初から足にフィットし歩きやすいです。
長さは少し長く、幅はちょうど良いです。
普段はエアフォースワンで28〜28.5cm
スタンスミスで28cm、REGALのビジネスシューズで、26.5cmを履いています。
今回は28cmを購入しました。
ピッタリした方が好きな方は0.5cm下のサイズでも良いと思います。
