We just love our new door handle! It's the Hawthorne Handleset from Kwikset. It is such an upgrade from the old, ugly doorknob that was on our front door for decades before we purchased the house. It was pretty easy to install, and only took my husband and me about an hour and a half...and at least half of that was spent removing our previous doorknob set. This stylish handleset features a beautiful curvy exterior handle with a thumb lever. It doesn't just look good, it feels good in your hand, too. On the inside, there's a much plainer round knob. It's simple and lovely. It's also easy to grasp and turn. Both interior and exterior parts feel very secure, which makes our family feel pretty secure, too. This set has a lock that is supposed to be harder to break into, which lets us sleep more easily at night, feeling safe and sound inside.

I love the dark bronze color of this set. It would complement a wide array of house and trim colors, and it looks good with lots of decorating styles. I think it looks amazing against the black of our front door, and just like the right jewelry can give an outfit a little extra 'oomph', this handleset finishes the look of our newly painted house and gives it a classic and timeless look. We love it!

My sister has been in need of a new door knob & lock as hers recently got damaged when workers sent to her house to do work actually broke her main door into her sun porch. This Kwikset - Hawthorne Handleset with Juno Knob - Deadbolt Keyed One Side - featuring SmartKeyset arrived at the perfect time! It's a very nice looking set! Features a nice door handle, round inside knob & deadbolt. All shown in the attached pictures. It took a little bit of time to put on to the new door but it didn't seem to be that difficult. It is really nice, sturdy quality! It also says it's kick in proof & that makes me so happy because my sister & her children have an added layer of protection. It locks nice & tightly too! We noticed that it has smart key, re key technology (& included tool) that is awesome to have that option! So far this set has been a huge hit & looks great too. Thank you kwikset for such a nice set of doorknobs! They're pretty, strong, sturdy & safe. Not much more that one could ask for. We're very happy!

I have to laugh but the amount of frustration I went through with this handle and knob. Oh my gosh. And yes I have changed multiple and installed a couple before this. First the internal screw holes for the knob itself were too large for the provided screws. The head slipped right out. Then the paper diagram was slightly off in comparison to our door. So it took taking it off and on with minor readjusting to get it right. But the worst part was that my door opens from left to right. I couldn't find anywhere in the instructions on how to switch the handle to fit. I gave up for 2 weeks. Then with fresh eyes I tried again. And sitting fidgeting with the handle flipping it up and down realizing you could pull out the latch thing and turn it -_- Finally it is on, after considering an entire new door and 2 weeks with the handle upside down. But it's beautiful now.
