Blake Scholl - On 26 Nov 2003 Mike Bannister and Les Brodie were the last pilots to fly Concorde G-BOAF on the last ever Concorde flight, G-BOAF left London-Heathrow around 11am flew around the Bay of Biscay at Mach 2 before she landed at her new home in Filton-Bristol.

Aerospace Bristol hosted an eventful weekend celebrating the legacy of Concorde. Captain Colin Morris joined guests for the After-Hours Tour on Saturday, while Sunday saw Captain Les Brodie marking the anniversary of Concorde's final flight with two nose droops.

“There were only ever 134 BA Concorde pilots the whole time the airplane was in service, so it really was a day out with your mates every time you went to work,” he says. Around 20 minutes after take off, cabin crew would start serving the passengers.

Chief Concorde Pilot MIKE BANNISTER He joined the British Airways crew of Concorde in 1977, becoming its youngest ever pilot at the age of only twenty eight. In his Concorde career Mike accumulated around 9,600 Concorde flight hours, almost 7,000 of which were supersonic - more than anyone else in history.
