Married for 20 years, Victoria and David Beckham's romance is one for the history books. As they celebrate their wedding anniversary this July, here's the story of how the footballer and Spice Girl got together and the history of their relationship since, from their wedding in 1999 to welcoming four children.
January 1998
David meets Victoria at a charity football match in Manchester. Around a year later, on 25 January, 1998, the pair announce their plans to marry at a press conference near Crewe.
March 1999
They welcome their first child, Brooklyn, just a few months before they are due to tie-the-knot.
July 1999
The couple are married at Luttrellstown Castle near Dublin on 4 July, 1999. Victoria wears a Vera Wang gown and a gold crown, designed by jeweller Slim Barrett.
November 1999

September 2002
Their second son, Romeo, is born on 1 September, 2002.

The family relocate to Spain in 2003, when David moves from Manchester United to play for Real Madrid.
