Actress and singer-songwriter, Emma Roberts, is featured on the cover of Women’s Health Magazine April 2011 issue. Being the daughter of Eric Roberts and niece of Julia Roberts may have opened some doors for her, but her talents are securing her as one of Hollywood’s up and coming actors to watch. Her resume is already extensive, but add one more to the list as she stars in the soon-to-open flick, “Scream 4.” The magazine is on newsstands March 15th but LA’s the Place gives you a sneak peek, courtesy of Women’s Health, at what Emma Roberts thinks about being part of the Roberts family, staying thin, and acting.

What’s it like being a “Roberts”?

“We Robertses have too many teeth for our mouths.”

“I have really crooked teeth—they give me character!”

What Chase Crawford (who co-starred with Roberts in “Twelve”) thinks about Emma…

“Emma is obviously gorgeous, but she has this confidence that speaks volumes of her character.”

“I can give her a hard time and she can take it—or give it right back.”

On working with Gwyneth Paltrow…

“I’d love to work with Gwyneth Paltrow. I love her.  She’s like my idol.”

What her thoughts are on acting and being on set…

“I grew up around sets…I would visit my aunt all the time and I just loved it.  I was fascinated by the whole thing.  You’d have to drag me off the set every time I was there!”

On a her favorite workout: pole dancing…

“I started taking classes with friends as a way to both work out and hang out.  You don’t realize how much upper-body strength you need!”

“It’s also a good way to build confidence.”

On being healthy in Hollywood

“A lot of women feel like they have to eat healthy to be skinny, but [for me] it’s not about that.”
